Part Two “I saw the angels arming up. They were picking up morning stars and flail type weapons. The angels were too many to count. They were arming so quickly that they were in and out in a blink of an eye. Then I saw them in formation lining up for battle. The Lord is wanting us know the time is very near for us to attack. The Lord is saying that the flails and morning stars are for tearing down strong holds and defences. He says: My people be ready. I even felt that the angels that are messengers of peace were now arming up for battle. I felt that this was signifying two things. Firstly, this is the Lord meaning business regarding waging war with the principalities and powers. And secondly, this demonstrates to us that it a far bigger battle than we will ever realise, and that we now need to shore up our weaknesses and stand as one with the Lord’s angel army leading the way. The roar of the Lion is near and the blast of the shofar trumpet is about to be heard.”
Part Three “I saw angels moving into front lines of the battle. These angels were not arming up in the armoury and yet they were marching into position with no weapons. We lining up close to front of the angel army. The Lord told me that these are worshipping angels, and that their worship had to be close to the front of the battle as their praise and worship of the King, along with the huge angel army carrying morning stars and maces, would weaken the enemy defences. I also felt that this is how He wants His church: to line up with worship and praise foremost in battle. There is a call to those who are creative to step forward; that creativity along with praise, worship and prayer are also to be at the front of battle lines as the church steps into this. Then when we hear the lion of Judah roar and the shofar sound, the church will march forward and take ground that is under the enemy’s influence. The battle is going to be heavily fought and there will be many injuries.”
Even the dogs have the crumbs that fall from the masters table…
“Then Jesus left Galilee and went North to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.” But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged him to send her away. “Tell her to go away,” they said. “She is bothering us with all her begging.”Then Jesus said to the woman, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep—the people of Israel.”But she came and worshipped him, pleading again, “Lord, help me!”Jesus responded, “It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters’ table.”“Dear woman,” Jesus said to her, “your faith is great. Your request is granted.” And her daughter was instantly healed.” (Matthew 15: 21-27)
Like all the stories in the gospels, there are many lessons we can learn from this account. I just want to look at a couple that apply specifically to prophesy.
Firstly, it’s always good to be asking God for what can one take from prophecies that are given to other people. I apply this in my walk of wanting to hear from God, not turning off or thinking either: “that’s nice for them,” or “why doesn’t God ever have a word for me,” but asking the Lord if there are any crumbs for me under the table.
This can also be applied this to messages brought at meetings: if we ask the lord what He wants to say to us, there may well be something which might not be the speaker’s main point, or even something he is speaking about, but which is prompted by part of the message.
The second is the woman’s persistence. I believe we have to be persistent in our desire to hear from God. He wants to know that we are serious. We look at persistence again in the next article in this series.
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11v12)
Again, this scripture is open to a number of interpretations, but one is that the “forceful” the push into the kingdom of Heaven to take hold of it in their lives. I believe is not only about those newly brought to the kingdom of God, but also those fervently and earnestly seeking to take hold of spiritual gifts:
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”(Ephesians 2 v10)
We are saved by grace not by works, sothis is not in any way suggesting that salvation is something that we earn; but I believe it is to do with pressing into our gifts ( both spiritual and natural). We must remember that we have an enemy who is trying to halt our growth and maturity in the Lord, so we must soberly keep in mind our weaknesses and keep our armour on.
God has great works planned for us to do, with Him and not for Him, where we will need to use our giftings to complete them and bring glory to God. If we work with Him, He will continually give us the strength and abilities that we need; but if we try and work for Him we will generally be doing it in our own strength and determination, often trying to earn favour with the Lord, forgetting that we were saved by grace and that these works were already planned for us to accomplish with Him before the beginning of time.
“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me.” (Philippians 3: 12-13)
Again here we see the picture of something that not given to us when we become a Christian but for which we must contend spiritually as we take the Kingdom by force. He has already planned what gifts and assignments He has for us that will bring Him glory, but as the apostle Paul puts it we are to press in to them. So in all this there is a battle, and battles are not won by being passive or hesitant, or by just waiting around for the victory to happen. We need to press in or take by force everything that God has for us and that has been prophesied over us, no matter what the cost. As we battle to grow further into our Kingdom calling God will start to give us a hunger for more.
To conclude this section on “picking up all the crumbs under the table,” on a practical point, I find that speaking in tongues is a key to hearing more from God :
“For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14: 2)
I believe these mysteries that we speak in our heavenly language actually impart the mysteries of Heaven to our spirits. Any crumb from Heaven is a whole loaf of bread here on Earth.
Many people are aware of the prophesy attributed to Smith Wigglesworth, from 1947:
“During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it, and will be characterised by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. “The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.“In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say, ‘This is a great revival.’ But the Lord says, ‘No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.’ “When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidence in the churches of something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit. When the word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed, the world has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the United Kingdom to mainland Europe, and from there, will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.”
The two wheels are the Word and the Spirit. The word and the Spirit together are what carry us forward. We cannot make progress if we just rely on the scriptures that we read or hear preached, and we cannot make progress if we just rely on supernatural intervention from Heaven to change our lives. Jesus said His words are Spirit and Life, and if the life of the Holy spirit is going to impact us through the word we have to have a genuine expectation of a supernatural encounter with God as we read it or hear it. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. Psalm 119: 130 says “The entrance of Your words gives light,” but that light does not come to us through our human understanding, but through the operation of the Holy Spirit. Without the Spirit, the Word is only half the bicycle. And unless we “receive with meekness the implanted word (James 1:21), the Spirit has nothing to activate in us and any supernatural experience we may have will just be a spinning wheel going nowhere.
Hebrews 2: 1-4 says this: “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”
The writer to the Hebrews heard the gospel – “so great a salvation” – from “those who had heard” Jesus. This may have been one (or some) of the eleven, or any of the other disciples gathered with them in the upper room at Pentecost. But whoever it was that preached to the writer to the Hebrews, the word that was preached was confirmed by God “bearing witness with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will.” They had the whole bicycle: the word and the Spirit.
I believe that there is something special about to happen in the new season that we are in; and it is what will bring this about. The Lord is leading His church off the main road of the familiar and up the mountain track of “the new thing” that He is doing. Across all the denominations and all the different church traditions – pentecostal/charismatic; evangelical; liturgical – there will be those that follow, and those that don’t. And they will all have one thing in common: a heart’s desire to follow Jesus. And the pentecostal will walk with the evangelical; the evangelical will walk with the liturgical; the liturgical with the charismatic. For each one, this unity will be a new thing. And the wheels of the Word and the Spirit will turn, and the harvest will be gathered in.
“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths” (Micah 4: 1-2).
God has made a snowball, and has set it rolling down a mountain. It is the true Church; the righteousness of God in Christ, the people of God loving one another, held together by the Word of God and moving in the power of the Spirit of God. As yet it is small, but as it rolls it gathers momentum and it increases in size as it keeps gathering more snow to itself. The enemies of God and of righteousness say “this is only a snowball!” and seek to stand in its path to break it up, and they set fires to melt the snow. But the snowball crushes those who stand it its way, and puts out the fires that would melt it. Our strength is in Him as we hold fast to one another and to the Word that binds us together, and as we keep to the trajectory that He has ordained.
As I was meditating on it this morning I thought the following, but this is my further reflection on what I had felt the Lord had showed me, rather than the original rhema word:
As we do this we will find the snow sticking to us as we go, because we will be His witnesses. We do not have to make this happen, and we cannot gather another person’s snow: our responsibility is to pray for those that we are connected to in the Body of Christ, that they will be “sticky” enough to gather the snow that is in their path and remain united to the rest of the snowball as it rolls. For each one of us, the snow that we gather is our part of Ephesians 2v 10: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Between December last year and now an American pastor called Dana Coverstone has received three prophetic dreams concerning the state of the USA. What he saw in the Spirit in graphic detailin Decemberwas what we watched in the news between March and June: Covid and the current civil unrest around black lives matter. (Note: I published this exactly four years ago today. The details are no longer current, but the thrust of the warning remains true. See the footnote.)
Google and YouTube are now awash with comments about his dreams, which Pastor Coverstone described in a YouTube video towards the end of June. I have had a couple of thoughts myself: here there they are.
In 1983 a man of God called Tom Zimmer, who was a war veteran living in Italy who spent all his time in prayer and worship, interceding especially for the nations, received a prophecy which specified the man called Donald J Trump would lead America back to God. He shared this with an American friend of his, who said that he must be wrong: Donald Trump was a New York playboy, and hardly the man that God would choose to lead America back to Him. However Tom Zimmer was convinced he had heard the Lord. Tom lived in the town of Loreto, where everybody knew him as a holy man, like Simeon and Anna who spent their time in the temple at the time of the birth of Jesus.
Fast forward to 2020 and Dana Coverstone. He is not a well-known pastor leading a big church; his calling is to go into churches who have lost their moral compass and turn them back to the Lord. He is not a known prophet, and in fact repeatedly says “I am not a prophet.” Responses to these dreams vary from scepticism to full belief, but whatever people think about the things he says, his integrity as a man of God appears to be in no doubt.
The first of his dreams accurately prophesied events in America between March and June. The second dream which he received at the end of June, I think it was the 24th, looks forward to the period between September and November, the time of the US presidential election.
He saw America in meltdown, with Washington burning and troops on the streets. It was full-scale Civil War. You need to see the videos yourself: just google “Dana Coverstone Prophetic Dreams.” I won’t get into details here, but they are a warning from the Lord to the church of America to “Brace Yourself!” We might say, “What’s that got to do with me in the UK?” I can’t answer that, other than to say I expect that the ripples will be felt around the world if the predictions come true. Pastor Coverstone says: “Believers, STOP MESSING AROUND if you’re not living for the Lord as you ought to be!” I think we can all hear this, whatever the context.
What we don’t necessarily realise in our peaceful United Kingdom is that the polarisation between the Republicans and Democrats in the USA is practically on a civil war footing already. The fuse is already burning, and it’s helped along by the partisan reporting of the two main TV news channels: Fox (Democrat) and CNN (Republican). There is a battle raging in Heaven over the whole world between the forces of light and the forces of darkness, and I believe that much of it is being played out on the streets of the United States, as the fight for the soul of the nation rages. What pastor Coverstone saw, was, I believe, the time when the burning fuse reached the dynamite at the time of the presidential elections in November.
We don’t know, of course, how the last stages of this battle will be played out; but if we believe that God spoke to Tom Zimmer, as I do, we can trust that the final outcome of this “civil war” will be a re-elected Donald Trump leading America back to God. As you read this, please don’t think that I believe that God endorses Donald Trump’s politics. This is not about politics at all, but about the eternal destiny of millions of people, and about the part that a spiritually restored USA will play on the world stage in the events leading up to the return of Christ. Whatever his failings, and God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, it would appear that Trump has a part to play.
A detail that I find particularly interesting, and prophetic, and which as far as I know hasn’t been picked up by anyone else, is this: the 1983 prophecy was about Donald Trump restoring the moral and spiritual compass of a country that has turned away from God’s ways. The Dana Coverstone prophecies were given to a man whose ministry to the church is to do exactly the same thing. I take this unlikely connection as a sign that these things are in fact going to happen.

I told a friend in the USA about the landslide victory of the Labour party in the recent UK general election, and she said “It seems to be going the other way over here.” Donald Trump does seem to be on course for the US presidency, which would fulfill those prophesies of a second term. As the Democrats’ attempt to use the courts to remove him from the scene have crumbled one after another, with the Democrat party in disarray as their attempts to prop up the clearly ailing Joe Biden until after the election and replace him with their anti-Life vice president Kamala Harris have failed, and as It really does look like God’s hand was protecting Trump from the sniper’s bullet, believers in the USA and the UK can genuinely for pro-life and pro-family policies to start being rolled out in the USA from November this year. But Satan’s war on Life is not going to stop: trans men are being allowed to compete in women’s events in the Olympics, destroying the hopes and dreams of thousands of female competitors with their heavier bone structure and more powerful musculature; little children are being exposed to sexually explicit drag shows in public libraries; and new legislation will put UK churches under threat if they preach a biblical view on marriage as being a lifelong covenant between one biological man and one biological woman. James 4:4 says
“Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
We are already starting to see this being played out in our society, from the opposite point of view: friendship with God is starting to be seen as enmity with the world. I believe we will see the Trump prophesies being fulfilled, and at least some restoration of biblical values coming through the next US administration, particularly in the area of pro-life legislation. But this will only make the enemy fiercer in his attacks wherever the doors are open for him, and as the Lord continues to purify His bride and call us out of Babylon, the need to brace ourselves will be stronger than ever before.
I don’t spend time online looking for what people are saying, so all I pick up in the “wind of the prophetic” is what comes directly to me through people I know. Another prophesy I have now seen twice is the “cloud the size of a man’s hand, coming out of the sea” that Elijah originally saw on Mount Carmel, when he had destroyed Baal worship and ended the drought brought about by Israel’s idolatry. (Read the story in 1 Kings 18).
A couple of years ago the Lord showed Andrew Baker of MakeWay Ministries a “small cloud coming out of the sea,” just as in the Elijah story, and spoke to him about an outpouring that was on its way. Just recently Chuck Pierce had a similar word; but this time the message was not just that the rain is on its way, but that we should run towards it. Referring to the door in Heaven that was standing open (Rev. 4:1), Chuck says (paraphrased by Jake Dominy, who sent it to me): “When you see the door open, run and look again. Run and look. You will see a cloud forming the size of a man’s hand. Run towards it. Run, run, because I am releasing my rain. It is going to get faster; in fact it will overtake you. The door is open. This is a new thing that I am accelerating.”
Prophetically, rain is associated with the pouring out of God’s Spirit, and specifically revival. A couple of years ago, God was saying it’s on its way; now He says it is close enough for us to “run towards it.” At the same time we are hearing a lot in the Spirit about “shaking” (“Once more I will shake the Heavens and the Earth” – Haggai 2:6 and Hebrews 12:26) and “standing firm.” So what do we believe?
I think the answer is that they are both true. The writer to the Hebrews says that this shaking “indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” I watched a film the other night called “Hurricane Heist.” There was a lot of shaking, a lot of stuff being removed; and also there was a lot of rain. God has not said He would send gentle showers; He has said He will send rain. I think a storm is coming, bringing heavy rain with it. The rain is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to bring revival to the world and blessing for His people. The shaking that has started to demolish strongholds will continue, and God is saying to His people, “Hold on to me, stand firm, put down roots in My word and My Spirit.” People whose security in the world has been swept away by the storm will be turning to those who are standing firm, and seeking the One that we are holding onto.
I think the storm may be close. We need to be sure that our security is in “the things which cannot be shaken,” and we need to ask the Lord to send that rain cloud and be watching for that door to open in Heaven, so that when it comes we can run out into the storm, holding fast to Jesus, and get ourselves soaking wet.
“I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.” (Psalm 16: 8-9)
When we hear prophetic words from different sources that both say the same thing, we can be sure that the Holy Spirit is speaking to the church. It may be the local church, or it may be the wider church, but what is important is that the Commander of the Lord’s army is giving out battle instructions, so when He speaks we need to pay attention.
Jake Dominy at Wildwood and Andrew Baker in Cornwall have both had the same word recently, which is this: “I am releasing the voice of my prophets into the church.” God doesn’t do anything without “first revealing it to His servants, the prophets,” (Amos 3:7); and as it appears that He has got a lot planned for the coming season, the prophets are going to be busy.
What does this mean? I think there are three things. The first is this. I think churches that up till now have paid little or no attention to the prophetic ministry, or have kept it under close pastoral control, are going to find that the Word of God will to come to them “like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces,” (Jer 23:29) unless they change their unyielding attitude. I don’t know how this might come about, but I feel it is a word that the Lord has given me. This may be a prayer pointer for those intercessors who are praying for their local churches: it is better to bend than to break.
Number two: God is raising up new prophetic voices and prophetic channels. Some reach thousands; some reach only a handful of people, but all are of equal value in His sight and each assignment is unique. If you feel drawn to the prophetic, maybe God is stirring something in you. Don’t resist the Holy Spirit. There are two resources on this site that can help you if you are starting out: Jakes’s “Beginner’s Guide to Prophesy,” which he has written recently as he has moved forward on his own journey, and some notes I put together which you will find at the under the ”School of Prophesy” heading. I encourage you to read them both.
Finally, we will see more directive and detailed words coming into the church as God clears and refines the vision of those who are already operating in a prophetic gifting. Church leaders who we don’t normally associate with bringing prophetic words are going to grow more confident in this area as the Holy Spirit increases a prophetic anointing on their ministry. Churches that are already open to the gifts or the Holy Spirit are going to need to make some adjustments in how they operate their services – whether they are still digital, or meeting in person again – in order to make room for this increase in prophetic input.
This is a new season, God is doing new things, there is a battle raging, and the Lord is shaking the heavens and the earth. While everything must be weighed and tested, and the church certainly must not run to the prophets as if they were fortune tellers, this is nevertheless an important time to heed the prophetic voice.
You may see a canal, you might see a lovely day by a canal, you feel beautiful countryside. You might see a dirty canal surrounded by lovely landscape. Whilst all these are true, the answer I would give is that we see a poor but amazing reflection of the of the sky and landscape in the canal. As Jesus said the disciples: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” What we “see” in prophesy is a reflection of what the Father is doing, and even then it’s a poor one, because as Paul says in 1Cor 13:12 “We see through a glass, darkly,” or as another translation puts it “What we see is just a poor reflection in a mirror.”
This is a very important principle that one must understand when stepping out into prophecy, whether you have been called to be a prophet, have a gift of prophecy or are just finding out more about this gift.
Jesus asked his disciples a similar question in Mark 8 27 –29
“Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?”
They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.”
“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”
Simon Peter had the revelation and the prophetic insight to see that Jesus is the Messiah. This passage points out that we are to look beyond the natural and more towards what the natural is pointing us to, so that we can understand what the Lord is wanting to show us in the spiritual realm. This brings us back to my original question: What do you see? The reason I gave the answer I did can be found in 1 Corinthians 13 v 8 –10, where the apostle Paul aptly writes:
“Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.”
We prophesy in part: what we see is like a poor reflection in a mirror.
This must remain a core value to hold to when we prophesy. In fact the whole of 1 Corinthians 13 is key. Prophesy should never be “look at me!” The whole of this passage is about what love is, and prophecy is a love-gift from the Holy Spirit to the church to build, encourage, warn and guide. If we were then to try and do this from the wrong motives we would not be acting out of love but out of pride or ambition, trying to gain position or get noticed. This return will actually damage and destroy the church. WE MUST ALWAYS PROPHESY OUT OF LOVE FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST.
“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” (1 Cor 13:2)
We can all prophesy, but not all called to be prophets.
There are many gifts to the church, and most of these we can all seek after. In 1 Corinthians 14:1 Paul specifically encourages us to “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts,but especially that you may prophesy.” However not all of us are called to be prophets, just as we are all called to evangelize but not all of us are called to be evangelists.
There are many forms of prophecy. Jesus says “my sheep hear my voice,” and in essence prophecy is simply hearing messages from God for other people. Some can hear from the Holy Spirit better in the quiet place; others hear from the Lord through creativity, others when out in the countryside. Likewise prophecy can be encouragement in the form of a picture from the Lord, discernment on how to handle situations with wisdom, or it can take many other forms. Prophesy should never contradict the Bible, and should always be in keeping with the guidelines given in 1 Cor 14: 3, “He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.”
But does this mean that we should only continue listening to the Holy Spirit in the way that we are used to and are good at? I honestly do not believe this. God is a God of endless variety, so I think that we should learn to hear from the Lord in many, many other ways. This not only keeps us more open to what the Spirit is saying, but also will bring us a more immersive experience, a deeper understanding of the Lord, and greater joy in our hearts.
In John 10:10 Jesus says “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.” Part of having life and having it to the full is to be able to communicate (listen and talk: it is a two-way thing) and enjoy walking with the Lord in all that we do.
A Spirit of Praise
Another principle that I have come to realize on reflection is that the Holy Spirit tends to use us more when we have a spirit of praise. This can be as simple as thanking God for who He is. Just a starter is to say something like “Thank you Jesus for Loving me” a couple of times a day, and see where that leads. If you don’t feel that way inclined, Isaiah 61:3 says that God will give “a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness,” so you can ask Him for it.
This brings us back the start: what can you see? We should aim to only do what we see the Lord doing. After all, if Jesus Himself had to see what Our Father was doing, how much more should we be earnestly seeking to see what the Father God is doing.
Saying that, if you thought you have heard from the Lord the most important thing is to act on it and step out. Give your word from the Lord and do not to be afraid, or think “What if I get it wrong?” We all have to start somewhere. When you do step out make sure that you do it under the covering of the leadership. In the current circumstances share via email, text or on the phone; or once your church meets again as a body bring it to the person overseeing the meeting.
I felt a warm gentle breeze blowing, slowly getting stronger, and felt the Lord say: “It’s the breath of my Spirit on coals that were once so on fire but have let the ash slowly build up, so that all that is left is a lump of coal glowing underneath the ash.” The ash represents life’s worries, sin, and settling for a comfortable mediocre Christian life.
I feel the Lord is saying that the warm wind of His Spirit is blowing the ash off the coal, and as His breath becomes more intense the coals will burst into flame – as long as we allow Him to agitate us like one does with a fire, or BBQ, to keep the flames burning hot.
So the Lord is asking again: “Where is your fire?”
